The Supreme Court has requested a response from the Karnataka government regarding a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed to ensure the safe screening of Kamal Haasan's Tamil film, 'Thug Life,' in the state. The PIL alleges that the film is being prevented from being shown in theaters due to threats of violence from the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike.
