The Supreme Court has ordered the release of Sakshi TV anchor K Srinivasa Rao, arrested for allegedly abetting defamatory statements made by a panelist on his show about Amaravati. Justices Mishra and Manmohan emphasized the importance of protecting journalistic participation and free speech.
