Air India Express faced disruptions Friday as two Surat-bound flights encountered technical issues. A Bangkok-Surat flight was grounded after a suspected bird hit upon landing in Bangkok, stranding approximately 180 passengers who were provided accommodation and rebooking options. Separately, a Jaipur-Bengaluru-Surat flight experienced delays due to an AC failure, a runway closure, and later, reported engine overheating, causing further inconvenience.
