Following security assessments after the April 22 Pahalgam attack, Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha announced the phased reopening of parks and tourist destinations. Eight popular spots in the Kashmir Valley, including Beetab Valley, Verinag, and Badamwari Park, are among the first to welcome tourists again. A similar reopening process is underway in the Jammu region, with eight destinations set to reopen soon.
