IED blast kills CRPF jawan near Jharkhand border in Odisha

A CRPF assistant sub-inspector, Satyaban Kumar Singh, lost his life in an IED explosion in Odisha's Sundargarh district during an area domination exercise near the Jharkhand border. The incident occurred in Saranda forest around 6 am, with suspicion falling on Maoists for planting the device. The operation was initiated following intelligence regarding Maoist activity in the region.
