India is advancing its Indus water strategy by initiating a feasibility study for a 113 km canal to transfer surplus water from Jammu & Kashmir to Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. This project aims to fully utilize the eastern rivers and India's allocated share in the western rivers, potentially reducing water flow to Pakistan.
