E-Aadhaar: You’ll soon be able to do everything sitting at home, says UIDAI CEO

Soon, Indians can share Aadhaar electronically via a QR code-based app, eliminating the need for photocopies. UIDAI plans to accept documents like birth certificates and driving licenses for address updates, reducing fraud and the need to visit Aadhaar centers. CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar announced the new app, enabling most updates from home, excluding biometrics.
