Air India flight AI180, traveling from San Francisco to Mumbai, experienced a technical malfunction in its left engine upon landing at Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport at 12:45 am. The aircraft landed on schedule, but the engine snag delayed its onward journey. Passengers were asked to deplane around 5:20 am, with the captain citing flight safety as the reason.
