US warship cancels plans to dock in Vietnam, reported heading towards West Asia

The USS Nimitz abruptly cancelled its Vietnam port visit and is heading towards West Asia amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran. The carrier, carrying 5,000 personnel and over 60 aircraft, was last tracked in the Malacca Strait. The US embassy in Hanoi cited an "emergent operational requirement" for the cancellation.
