'Thug Life' row: Supreme Court rebukes Karnataka High Court

The Supreme Court has strongly criticized the Karnataka High Court. This is regarding its suggestion for Kamal Haasan to apologize for his remarks. The remarks were about the origin of Kannada language. The apex court also slammed the Karnataka government for its delayed response. The court questioned the state's failure to prevent threats against the film 'Thug Life'.
