West Bengal’s new UG admission 2025: Portal to cover 460 colleges across 17 universities launched

West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu launched a centralised admission portal for undergraduate courses in 460 state-run and state-aided colleges. Starting June 18, students can apply with up to 25 choices, aided by a chatbot named 'Veena'. The initiative aims for transparency, avoiding past irregularities, while autonomous colleges and minority institutions are excluded.
