Israel-Iran conflict: India launches ‘Operation Sindhu’ to evacuate citizens from war-hit Iran; 110 Indian students return via Armenia

Amid escalating Iran-Israel tensions, India has initiated Operation Sindhu to safeguard and evacuate its citizens from Iran. The first phase saw 110 Indian students successfully moved from northern Iran to Yerevan, Armenia, and subsequently flown to New Delhi. The government expressed gratitude to the governments of Iran and Armenia for their cooperation in facilitating the evacuation.
