N Chandrasekaran, Tata Consumer Products chairman, missed Wednesday's annual shareholder meeting due to Air India exigencies following the tragic London-bound flight crash in Ahmedabad. P B Balaji, a non-executive director, presided over the meeting. Chandrasekaran has been in Gurugram-Delhi, engaging with Air India personnel and government officials to address airline-related matters.
