Raj Thackeray warns of unrest over ‘northern language’ in schools, questions policy intent
Posted
MNS chief Raj Thackeray has warned Maharashtra schools against supporting the government's alleged plan to impose Hindi, a language "spoken in some northern provinces." Thackeray cautioned that such actions would be seen as a "betrayal" of Maharashtra. He accused the government of discreetly pushing Hindi, despite public opposition and concerns about its impact on Marathi and local dialects.
