22 lakh students failed class 10 in 2024, Centre pushes for board standardisation in 7 states
Posted
The Ministry of Education has urged seven states, including Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal, to adopt a common board for classes 10 and 12, as these states accounted for a significant 66% of student failures last year. The recommendation aims to improve academic outcomes and standardize assessment processes, addressing disparities highlighted by the School Education Department's analysis.
