Karnataka: Siddaramaiah government mulls bill on crowd control post Bengaluru stampede; 'Rohith Vemula Bill' also on the cards

Following a tragic stampede in Bengaluru that claimed 11 lives, the Karnataka government is planning to introduce a bill focused on crowd control and management. Other proposed legislation includes the Rohith Vemula Bill, aimed at preventing caste-based discrimination, along with measures to combat misinformation, fake news, hate speech, and hate crimes.
