Chief Justice of India, B R Gavai, addressing Italian judges, highlighted the Supreme Court's role in promoting socio-economic justice over the past 75 years. He cited the SC's ban on "bulldozer justice," preventing arbitrary demolition of homes and upholding citizens' right to shelter.
