Posthumous 'transfer' for Odisha doctor
Posted

In a bizarre oversight, the Odisha government promoted and transferred Dr. Smruti Ranjan Samal, who passed away two months prior, amidst a cholera outbreak. Meanwhile, at Mumbai International Airport, authorities apprehended Salim Ahmed Ali, a Bangladeshi national, attempting to fly to Riyadh with a fraudulently obtained Indian passport along with his family. Ali had been residing in India since 2012.
