An indefinite shutdown gripped Churachandpur, while Kangpokpi observed a 24-hour closure following the death of a tribal woman, Hoikholhing Haokip, in crossfire between security forces and unidentified gunmen. The incident occurred during an operation launched after a farmer was shot.
