Madras HC puts curbs on ED in Tasmac case

The Madras High Court has stayed Enforcement Directorate (ED) proceedings against film producer Akash Baskaran and businessman Vikram Ravindran in connection with alleged money laundering in Tasmac operations. The court criticized the ED for relying on unsubstantiated materials, stating the search and sealing of the petitioners' premises lacked authority.
