National Conference president Farooq Abdullah criticized the "dual power structure" in Jammu & Kashmir, blaming it for slow development. He warned that the party might approach the Supreme Court if statehood isn't restored soon. Sajad Lone supported the demand for statehood but criticized the NC's governance and concentration of power within the Chief Minister's Office.
