The central government is set to launch the Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) with a focus on revitalizing Indian cities and addressing long-standing infrastructure issues. This initiative, backed by Rs 1 lakh crore, will prioritize projects with transformative impact in 500-1,000 smaller cities.
