In Wayne, Michigan, a potential mass shooting was averted at CrossPointe Community Church when a gunman opened fire on Sunday. The assailant, armed with a rifle and handgun, was stopped after being struck by a vehicle driven by a parishioner and then fatally shot by church security staff.
