Iran hangs man accused of spying for Mossad, ties to Israel linked broadcaster; second execution in 48 hours

Iran executed Mohammad-Amin Mahdavi Shayesteh for allegedly spying for Israel's Mossad and having ties to Iran International, a channel critical of Tehran. This execution followed another one a day prior, amidst heightened tensions after US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites and Iran's retaliatory missile attacks on Tel Aviv.
