Army inks deals worth Rs 295 crore for spy drones & loitering munitions from desi private firms

Following Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army has awarded contracts worth Rs 295 crore to domestic firms for loitering munitions and mini surveillance drones. Solar Defence and Aerospace will supply 450 Nagastra-1R kamikaze drones, while ideaForge Technology will provide hybrid mini-UAV systems for ISR missions. These procurements aim to bolster the Army's capabilities with advanced surveillance and precision strike assets.
