A district-level inquiry has been initiated in Jamshedpur after textbooks intended for free distribution to students in East Singhbhum were allegedly stolen and sold to a scrap dealer. An FIR has been lodged, and a night guard has been dismissed and taken into custody. The administration has sealed storage locations and is reviewing the book distribution mechanism across the district.
