Harvard and University of Toronto launch cross-border education plan amid US visa turmoil
Posted
Harvard University and the University of Toronto have launched a joint contingency plan allowing select international students from Harvard’s Kennedy School to continue their studies in Canada amid ongoing US visa uncertainties. The initiative responds to potential entry restrictions and combines coursework from both institutions. This marks the first cross-border academic backup following efforts by the US Department of Homeland Security to limit Harvard’s enrollment of foreign students, a move currently blocked by a federal judge, Reuters reported.
