Maharashtra withdraws Hindi language orders in schools after backlash, forms review panel

Maharashtra government has withdrawn orders about implementing a three-language policy in schools. This decision follows opposition to introducing Hindi from class one. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced a committee to review the language policy. The committee, led by Narendra Jadhav, will suggest a way forward. The previous government's recommendations are also under consideration.
