IISc team creates glowing sensor for liver cancer detection
Сообщение
Indian Institute of Science scientists have developed a glowing paper sensor for early liver cancer detection using terbium, a rare earth metal. The sensor detects β-glucuronidase, an enzyme linked to liver cancer and other conditions. This cost-effective sensor, readable with a UV lamp and free software, shows promise for low-resource settings and broader applications.
