A Delhi court has allowed the CBI to close the case of Najeeb Ahmed, a JNU student who disappeared in 2016. The CBI's closure report was accepted, with the possibility of reopening if new evidence emerges. Ahmed vanished after an altercation at his hostel. His counsel alleged political pressure on the CBI.
