Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis criticized Uddhav Thackeray, labeling him "palturam" after reversing the three-language policy due to opposition pressure. Fadnavis clarified that the BJP-led government supports all national languages, including Hindi. He pointed out that Thackeray's own administration had previously mandated Hindi instruction based on the Raghunath Mashelkar Committee's recommendations.
