Under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's leadership, Uttarakhand is launching 'Jalsakhi' to empower rural women through water supply management. Following the success of the 'Lakhpati Didi' scheme, women SHGs will handle billing, connections, and maintenance, earning incentives and revenue shares. This initiative aims to boost women's financial independence and improve water service delivery in rural areas.
