India and Oman have updated their Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement to better reflect current global tax standards, effective May 28, 2025. The revised agreement aims to eliminate double taxation for individuals and businesses operating in both countries. It also lowers tax rates on royalties and technical service fees, promotes cross-border investments, and enhances information exchange to combat tax evasion.
