'Saying I love you isn't sexual harassment': Bombay HC draws the line; clears man in Pocso case
Posted
The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court overturned the conviction of a man under the POSCO Act, stating that expressing 'I love you' doesn't automatically imply sexual intent. The court acquitted the man, who was accused of molesting a teenage girl by holding her hands and professing his love. The bench emphasized that additional evidence is needed to prove a sexual motive beyond the expression of affection.
