The NSUI staged a protest in Lucknow against the Uttar Pradesh government's decision to consolidate schools with low enrollment. Led by Anas Rehman and Rishabh Pandey, the student demonstrators marched towards the Vidhan Sabha, resulting in clashes with the police. Rehman criticized the move as detrimental to rural students' education, while Pandey accused the government of favoring private institutions.
