Amidst the uproar following the Kolkata law college rape case, Manojit Mishra's lawyer, Raju Ganguly, claimed the absence of scratch marks on his client's body, except for a 'love bite.' Ganguly suggested examining the victim's phone records, hinting that the case might not be a rape. Kolkata police have transferred the investigation to the detective department.
