The RBI has maintained the 8.05% interest rate on its floating rate savings bonds for July to December 2025, consistent with the previous half-year. This rate is benchmarked 0.35% higher than the National Savings Certificate. Interest is paid semi-annually and is taxable, with TDS applicable above Rs 10,000.
