J&K medical council speeds up docs’ registration, says action will be taken against unregistered practice

The Jammu and Kashmir Medical Council (JKMC) has accelerated the issuance of registration certificates to doctors, issuing 1,688 in the last two months. This initiative addresses concerns about unregistered practitioners in healthcare. JKMC President S Muhammad Salim Khan emphasized that registration is mandatory for all doctors practicing in J&K, aiming to ensure qualified professionals treat patients.
