NMC stalls on making med college assessments public

Despite orders to disclose medical college assessment reports, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has yet to make these public, citing ongoing legal consultation. This lack of transparency leaves MBBS aspirants unable to verify the infrastructure and faculty claims of medical colleges. The NMC's reluctance contrasts with the previous Medical Council of India's practice of publicizing assessment reports and meeting minutes.
