Israel-Iran war: Tel Aviv did not achieve all its aims, says report; did Netanyahu's gamble backfire?

Foreign Policy magazine reports that Israel's recent 12-day war with Iran, termed a "failed gamble" by Benjamin Netanyahu, failed to achieve its objectives. Despite aiming to eliminate Iran's strategic threat, the conflict exposed Israel's vulnerabilities and strengthened Iranian nationalism. Iran retaliated effectively, targeting Israeli cities and even a US airbase in Qatar.
