In 1982, Amitabh Bachchan suffered a near-fatal accident on the set of Coolie. Puneet Issar, his co-actor, was involved. Despite his critical condition, Amitabh ensured Puneet wasn't blamed. He called Puneet to the hospital and reassured him it was an accident. Amitabh even walked Puneet to the hospital gate to face the media, showing his support.
