‘Put it on hold’: Delhi government pushes back on fuel ban for older vehicles; writes to pollution control body

Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa urged the Commission for Air Quality Management to suspend Direction No. 89, which prohibits fuel stations from providing fuel to End-of-Life vehicles. Sirsa argued that the order should be paused until the ANPR system was fully implemented across the NCR, deeming it unfair to vehicle owners.
