‘Maa’ crosses Rs 25 crore mark in first week

Kajol's mythological horror film 'Maa' has performed well at the box office, earning Rs 26.65 crore in its first week despite competition from 'Sitaare Zameen Par' and 'Kannappa'. Directed by Vishal Furia, the film tells the story of a mother, Ambika, fighting dark forces to save her daughter and village. The film now faces new competition from 'Metro... In Dino'.
