Ravindra Jadeja's 89 and Shubman Gill's double century powered India to 587 against England. Gill and Jadeja had a 203-run partnership. Gill then added 144 with Washington Sundar. England struggled in response, losing early wickets to Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj. Joe Root and Harry Brook's partnership took England to 77/3 at stumps.
