In Texas, a 22-year-old woman was rescued after being swept 32 km down the Guadalupe River during devastating floods that followed 4th of July celebrations. Clinging to a Cypress tree, she was spotted by a homeowner who alerted rescuers. The woman, camping with family when the floodwaters struck, survived with minor injuries after a daring leap into a rescue boat.
