Govt officials balk at interfering in ex-CJI home row

The Supreme Court has requested the government to reclaim the official bungalow of former CJI D.Y. Chandrachud, located at 5, Krishna Menon Marg. Officials are optimistic that the matter will be resolved amicably, avoiding the need for an eviction notice. Chandrachud's family is reportedly preparing to move out soon.
