SUNY Orange has received $250,000 in state funding to establish New York’s first AI and Healthcare Workforce Center, aiming to train frontline and mid-level healthcare workers in AI integration. Backed by Senator James Skoufis, the initiative will position SUNY Orange as a leader among US community colleges in AI healthcare education. As reported by the Mid Hudson News, the centre is expected to begin delivering outcomes by early 2026 in partnership with local healthcare providers.
