ICC issues arrest warrants for two top Taliban leaders; Taliban calls it 'nonsense'

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Taliban leaders Haibatullah Akhundzada and Abdul Hakim Haqqani, accusing them of gender-based persecution against women and girls in Afghanistan since August 2021.
