CCTVs at all railway level crossings to prevent mishaps
Posted
Following a tragic accident in Tamil Nadu, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has mandated CCTV surveillance at all level crossings nationwide. The ministry is also lowering the traffic volume threshold for interlocking works to enhance safety. Additionally, new protocols require prior permission for engineering trolleys on tracks, prompted by a recent collision in Bihar.
