An Amarnath Yatra convoy vehicle met with an accident in Udhampur, injuring the driver, while 7,579 pilgrims embarked from Jammu for the holy cave. The mishap occurred in Chenani, possibly due to the driver falling asleep. This follows previous incidents involving pilgrim vehicles on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.
